Welcome to Marble Elementary School

Mission

Marble Elementary School will foster a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where all children can learn.

Vision

We at Marble Elementary envision an atmosphere where each child strives to reach his or her potential. We will provide a sound and challenging curriculum in a nurturing environment. We will reach our goal with a highly qualified, caring staff assisting each child in developing intellectually, socially, morally, and physically to become responsible citizens and life-long learners.

Beliefs

Students greatly benefit from a cooperative team effort among home, school and community.

Student performance will be improved with an innovative variety of instructional techniques in order to meet the individual needs of students.

School-wide improvement will be promoted through ongoing assessments and interpreting test data to strengthen future curriculum.

Incorporating technology with the curriculum will help students compete in a global society.

Providing a high quality, integrated curriculum will encourage all students to achieve the academic, logical, technical, and practical skills to become life-long learners.

A firm, fair and supportive behavior plan will be in place.

The faculty will be committed to the educational process and to the students.

Mutual respect, integrity, cooperation, perseverance, and kindness will be reinforced.

Transitioning students, parents, and staff from one aspect or phase of education into another will be facilitated by effective orientation procedures.

Healthy lifestyles and good citizenship are important ways for students to accomplish goals as they grow to become responsible contributing adults.

Facilitating the students' learning about the diverse world around them will help prepare them to live in a world with many different cultures and people groups.
