AES makes learning FUN!

This year we are implementing "brain based learning" strategies to help our students maximize learning. We have started by using softer, more natural lighting, playing Baroque music while we work, focusing more on small group work and centers, using word walls throughout the school, incorporating more movement in our learning and having water bottles and healthy snacks on our desks during the day. Research has proven that these modifications greatly increase student learning and we are looking forward to seeing great results in our classrooms as well.

Dr.Fritz Mengert, an internationally renowned neuroscientist, is conducting school-wide  training in implementing these strategies into our classrooms.
